Celestial Cruises Advertisement Series:

A set of three advertisements for a fictitious cruise company.
Celestial Cruises Informational Insert:
Programs: Adobe InDesign CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3
An insert giving guests on space cruises that particular day's activities. It had to be 2-color and contain a photograph.
Luxury Car Advertisement:
Programs: Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3
A luxury car advertisement in today's rough economy. The idea was to evoke national pride in the only American luxury car company, Cadillac, and to instill confidence in a company that has been around for many years and been through many recessions. The advertisement had to be two-sided and accordion folded.
Black Hole Bags Advertisement Series:
Programs: Adobe Photoshop CS3
Black Hole Bags can hold unearthly amounts of weight and be light as a feather. The target audience includes college students and young commuters, so a playful approach was used to attract potential buyers.
Glasgow Type Conference Logo:
Programs: Adobe Illustrator CS3
The coat of arms for the city of Glasgow, Scotland contains these four elements: a fish, a tree, a bell, and a bird. They are said to have been involved with miracles performed by the Patron Saint of the city, Saint Mungo.
Social Cause Poster:

Inspiration came from American propoganda posters from WWII. The idea is to bring awareness to childhood hunger in America and make people aware of an organization that is fighting it. The second piece is an example from a notepad with healthful recipes to be used for taking notes in healthy cooking classes for finacially challenged families as well as a grocery shopping list for afterwards.

Three different graphic design styles were utilized in this practice: Art Noveau, Pictorial Modern, and International Swiss.
Graphic Design Rococo Study:

Another study on the Rococo French style of design.
Colorful Crayons Logo and Stationery Suite:

Originally black and white, this is a redo of a logo that is much more fitting to the subject matter and that allowed a more playful exploration of design elements in a stationery suite. Includes the logo, letterhead, mailing envelope, and business cards front and back.
